Three members of the Tamar Valley Tourism Association are celebrating
after receiving one of the new Breakfast Awards launched by enjoyEngland.
Lantallack Farm Bed and Breakfast, Landrake, Bridge House Bed and
Breakfast, Gunnislake, and Rezare Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast, Rezare,
have all been highlighted for offering ?quality and choice of breakfast,
service and hospitality that exceeds what would be expected?. The award
is given to just a small percentage of businesses within each category.
Gunnislake?s proud award winners, Myles and Margaret Singleton, said:
?Bridge House Bed and Breakfast is very close to the Tamar Valley
Centre, and we are delighted to be one of only a few recipients of
VisitEngland’s Breakfast Award. We provide a large choice of breakfast
menu, using locally sourced produce, cooked to order. We believe that
breakfasts should be one of the highlights of accommodation when away
from home.?
Nanette and Anthony Manning of Rezare Farmhouse B&B said, “With such
rich resources to draw upon and highlight, it makes sense to utilise
them fully, and this is what we do on our breakfast menu. Butcher’s own
delicious sausages and home-cured bacon, locally smoked fish, fresh
fruit in season, our own apple juice, bread, compote, granola and
preserves. Why wouldn’t you feature them?”
